Corrado Passera

A degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and the beginning of his career at McKinsey. Inspired by innovation and challenge, his career path took him from Olivetti to Poste Italiane S.p.A., Intesa Sanpaolo and the Italian Government as Minister of Economic Development, Infrastructures and Transportation.
In 2018 he launched illimity, a bank listed on the STAR segment of the Borsa Italiana from September 10th 2020 and specialized in SMEs credit, which aims to discover and exploit the many hidden potentials of our economy and society.

Dario Fabbri

Director of the geopolitical monthly magazine Domino, he has been professor of geopolitics at prestigious Italian and foreign universities.
He is the author of two podcasts for Rai Radio 3 and of the series "Stati di tensione" for Chora Media, dedicated to major global conflicts.
In 2017, he received the Amerigo Award as the best journalist covering the United States. Since February 2022, following the Ukarine invasion, he has become a well-known television personality, appearing on a daily basis on the TV programs of the broadcaster La7.

Enrico Ferraresi

Enrico has a degree in Business Administration from LUISS University in Rome.
He started his career in Deloitte in 2005 and currently, he is service line M&A Transaction Services’ Partner and the representative for Deloitte Financial Advisory in the Energy sector.
He has a great experience in M&A services (both sell side and buy side) for corporate clients and private equity, having worked on major transaction both on national and international level and across different industries (media and telecommunication, Defense, energy, airline industry, gaming, manufacturing sector).
In regards to the Energy sector, Enrico performs coverage and origination tasks about the key players operating in the Italian market, besides having worked on important M&A operations assisting clients such as Enel, Acea, A2A and Eni.

Bernardo Attolico

Born in New York in 1963, Bernardo Attolico has a degree in Economics and Commerce. He joined SACE in 2015 as head of the Debt Capital Markets division. In 2018, he moved to Simest, at the time controlled by SACE, in the Equity Investment structure. In 2021 he returned to SACE where he was appointed Chief Business Officer, a role he still holds today.
Bernardo Attolico has over 30 years of experience in the Investment Banking sector gained both abroad and in Italy: he worked for Barclays, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank and participated in the launch of the first debt fund for Italian mid-caps by Muzinich & Co.

Francesca Bognin

Francesca Bognin is the Chief Financial Officer at RINA. She joined the company in 2014 as an M&A Manager and in four years, she ascended to her current role, overseeing the entire Administration, Finance, and Control department, with a team of over 100 experts in Italy and abroad. Before RINA, she worked at A.T.Kearney as a consultant and manager in acquisitions and financial development.
Francesca is also a member of the Risk and Management Committees at RINA and has built a strong relationship with shareholders and major financial institutions worldwide.

Umberto Paolo Moretti

Umberto Paolo is the Head of Turnaround & Special Situations at illimity Bank, since its incorporation.

Constantin Terzago

Constantin has launched the Italian business of Mutares in 2017 and today is responsible for the Southern and Eastern European investment activity of the firm.
Prior to joining Mutares he spent over 14 years in Mediobanca focusing on M&A and corporate finance. Constantin graduated in business administration at Bocconi University in Milan.

Andrea Mignanelli

He is the founder of Cerved Credit Management Group. The company specializes in the management of a wide range of non-performing loans and assets. He has served as CEO of the Cerved Credit Management Group from 2005 to 2019. Under his leadership, the company became part of the Cerved Group S.p.A. in 2011, strengthening its offer in the credit risk management sector.
Before founding Cerved Credit Management Group in 2005, Mignanelli was a partner at McKinsey & Co., where he was responsible for Credit Risk Management Practice in Europe.
From 1994 to 1997 he worked as a financial analyst at General Electric’s offices in London, New York and Rio de Janeiro.
A graduate in Business and Economics from Milan’s Luigi Bocconi University in 1993, Mignanelli completed his education by earning a Master’s in Business Administration from INSEAD, France, in 1998.

Guido Cuzzolin

Guido Cuzzolin has over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy industry in Italy.
He is the Country Manager of Ortus Italy. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction, business development, relationship management, budget, and operations of Ortus Italy.
Previously he was CEO of KRENERGY (listed company), Partner and Chairman of TOLO GREEN and MILIS ENERGY, sole administrator at TOLO ENERGIA SRL, Chairman of Acque Veronesi S.C.R.L., founder and CEO of SO.GE.I. General Society of Engineering and Expert Member of the EIA Regional Commission (Veneto region).

Elena Maspoli

Elena spent her professional career always with a focus on the energy business. She worked both in Italy and abroad, in several structured finance deals, in Unicredit, Intesa Sanpaolo and BBVA, to then move across the equity side of the business, where she supported the investment strategy of VEI Green, closed in 2018 with a successful exit through the sale of ForVEI to ERG SpA. In illimity she oversees energy investments, with the challenging view to bring industrial expertise in the management of distressed credits and the valorisation of real estate assets.

Carlo Mereu

Carlo Mereu is CoFounder and CEO of FastWay, an infrastructure company owned by the IPC fund managed by Azimut Libera Impresa, created to accelerate decarbonisation and the transition towards sustainable mobility through the development of a fast and widespread charging network for electric vehicles. Before the launch of FastWay, Carlo Mereu contributed to the start-up of Be Charge, from the birth of electric mobility to the entry into the ENI-Plenitude group, and of 4Energia, a company active in the Power Purchase Agreement market, guaranteeing access to the energy markets to hundreds of renewable and traditional power plants.

Alessandra Scognamiglio

Alessandra Scognamiglio is an architect, PhD. Since 2000, she has been a researcher at ENEA's Renewable Energy Technology Department, Photovoltaics and Smart Networks Division, working on the use of photovoltaics in buildings and the landscape. Her main research interest is in methodological and experimental approaches that allow experimenting with new visions at the border between scientific research, architectural design and landscape. In 2022, she was general chair of the 8th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion. She is coordinator of the ENEA Sustainable Agrivoltaics Task Force and president of the Italian Sustainable Agrivoltaics Association (AIAS).

Francesca Zarri

Born in 1969 (Bologna), she earned MS degree in Mining Engineering. She is in her current position since July, 1, 2020.
1997-2010: she worked in Eni’s upstream business.
2011: Head of American Region, Head of Procurement Services and Eni's representative for Commercial Committee in the South Stream Project.
2013: VP for W. Africa Projects Monitoring & Technical Coordination, later Eni Congo’s Development Projects Director.
2017-2019, Head of Italian Southern District, then SVP Italian Activities Coordination.
She is President of Eniservizi and EniProgetti, Eni’s representative in Assomineraria.

Valeria Termini

Valeria Termini is an Economics and Politics professor at RomaTre University and Senior Fellow at Luiss School of European Policy. She has been a member of CNEL since May 2023, appointed espert by the President Mattarella. She is also a scientific advisor of IAI and member of High Level Dialogue on Energy of the United Nations.
Since the 90s she has focused her studies on energy transformation and climate change from a scientific and institutional point of view. She has been the Commissioner of ARERA (Autorità di Regolazione per Energia e Ambiente) in Italy and Europe from 2011 to 2018.
She attended Economics at Bocconi University in Milan and at Cambridge in UK. She is the author of many books, such as "Il mondo rinnovabile. Come l'energia pulita può cambiare l'economia, la politica e la società", Luiss University Press 2018 and "Energia. La grande trasformazione", Laterza 2020.

Kelly Russel

Born in 1976 in Columbus, Georgia, married with 5 children, Kelly Russell Catella is Head of Sustainability & Communication and Chairman of the Sustainable Innovation Committee of COIMA SGR. Prior to her current role, she held the position of Communication, CSR and Marketing Director at Hines Italia SGR and gained experience managing strategic communication, public relations and community engagement of the major Porta Nuova urban regeneration project in the center of Milan.
Kelly Russell Catella is also General Manager of the Riccardo Catella Foundation, founded in 2005 to promote best practices in the sustainable territorial development, with particular attention giving to social inclusion in our cities and the global fight against climate change. Thanks to an innovative public-private collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, since 2019 the Foundation is responsible for the maintenance and security of BAM (Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano), the third urban public park in the city, and offering a cultural program open to all citizens. Before the positions cited above, Kelly Russell Catella was regional coordinator for Urban Land Institute in Italy.

Davide Tabarelli

Davide Tabarelli, born in 1960, is the founder and president of NE-Nomisma Energia, a research center focusing on energy and environment, specializing in market analysis and forecasts regarding the impact of energy and environmental policies. With a degree in economics, he has been involved in the energy industry and related environmental issues for 40 years. He has served as a consultant to the Ministry of Industry and Environment for environmental policies. He is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Engineering in Bologna and an energy columnist for Sole 24 Ore.

Giuseppe Ricci

Aged 64, born in Casale Monferrato and residing in Rome, Giuseppe Ricci graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1984 at the Politecnico di Torino. Married with two children. He fulfilled his military service in the Carabinieri Corps. He joined Eni in 1985, initially holding various positions at the Sannazzaro refinery (PV) and later at the Milazzo (ME) refinery, an Eni and Kuwait joint venture. From 2000 to 2004, he was based in Rome as the Head of Central Technology. He then returned to Sicily from 2004 to 2008 to lead the Gela Refinery, where he became the CEO.
In 2008, he returned to the Rome office of Refining & Marketing, where he became the Director of Industrial Operations and Logistics. He simultaneously held positions in group companies, including Chairman of the Gela Refinery, CEO of the Milazzo Refinery, and board member of GALP, a Portuguese Oil & Gas company. In 2012, he transitioned to a different area of activity and became the Group Director of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality at Eni, a position he held until 2016. In September 2016, he was appointed as the Chief Refining & Marketing Officer of Eni, overseeing all downstream petroleum activities, including refining, logistics, and the commercial distribution network. Since January 2021, he has been one of the two Deputy CEOs of Eni, responsible for the Energy Evolution division. In this role, he has expanded his areas of responsibility to include not only downstream petroleum but also chemicals, electricity production, renewable energy production, commercial activities, and environmental remediation and technologies at Eni. Since July 2017, he is the Chairman of Confindustria Energia, the federation of Confindustria that brings together all associations of energy producers and distributors. Always since 2017, he is the Chairman of AIDIC (Italian Association of Chemical Engineering) and, since 2020, a member of the Board of Directors of the Eni Foundation. Since 2021, he is member of Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità.
