Valeria Termini is an Economics and Politics professor at RomaTre University and Senior Fellow at Luiss School of European Policy. She has been a member of CNEL since May 2023, appointed espert by the President Mattarella. She is also a scientific advisor of IAI and member of High Level Dialogue on Energy of the United Nations.
Since the 90s she has focused her studies on energy transformation and climate change from a scientific and institutional point of view. She has been the Commissioner of ARERA (Autorità di Regolazione per Energia e Ambiente) in Italy and Europe from 2011 to 2018.
She attended Economics at Bocconi University in Milan and at Cambridge in UK. She is the author of many books, such as "Il mondo rinnovabile. Come l'energia pulita può cambiare l'economia, la politica e la società", Luiss University Press 2018 and "Energia. La grande trasformazione", Laterza 2020.

Kelly Russell Catella is also General Manager of the Riccardo Catella Foundation, founded in 2005 to promote best practices in the sustainable territorial development, with particular attention giving to social inclusion in our cities and the global fight against climate change. Thanks to an innovative public-private collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, since 2019 the Foundation is responsible for the maintenance and security of BAM (Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano), the third urban public park in the city, and offering a cultural program open to all citizens. Aged 64, born in Casale Monferrato and residing in Rome, Giuseppe Ricci graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1984 at the Politecnico di Torino. Married with two children. He fulfilled his military service in the Carabinieri Corps. He joined Eni in 1985, initially holding various positions at the Sannazzaro refinery (PV) and later at the Milazzo (ME) refinery, an Eni and Kuwait joint venture. From 2000 to 2004, he was based in Rome as the Head of Central Technology. He then returned to Sicily from 2004 to 2008 to lead the Gela Refinery, where he became the CEO.
In 2008, he returned to the Rome office of Refining & Marketing, where he became the Director of Industrial Operations and Logistics. He simultaneously held positions in group companies, including Chairman of the Gela Refinery, CEO of the Milazzo Refinery, and board member of GALP, a Portuguese Oil & Gas company. In 2012, he transitioned to a different area of activity and became the Group Director of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality at Eni, a position he held until 2016. In September 2016, he was appointed as the Chief Refining & Marketing Officer of Eni, overseeing all downstream petroleum activities, including refining, logistics, and the commercial distribution network. Since January 2021, he has been one of the two Deputy CEOs of Eni, responsible for the Energy Evolution division. In this role, he has expanded his areas of responsibility to include not only downstream petroleum but also chemicals, electricity production, renewable energy production, commercial activities, and environmental remediation and technologies at Eni. Since July 2017, he is the Chairman of Confindustria Energia, the federation of Confindustria that brings together all associations of energy producers and distributors. Always since 2017, he is the Chairman of AIDIC (Italian Association of Chemical Engineering) and, since 2020, a member of the Board of Directors of the Eni Foundation. Since 2021, he is member of Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità.
